1) Peteland is ruled by one Leader. This Leader may create, modify, and remove laws as they wish.
2) Below the Leader in rank is the Commander, who can also create, modify, and remove laws as they wish. The Leader may override anything the Commander does.
3) Below the Commander in rank is the Leader of Air and Naval Forces and the Leader of Emergency Services. The Leader (NOT the Commander) chooses who takes these roles, but whoever takes these roles must be willing to take them.
4) Every four years a vote is held to decide who the new Leader is. Anyone who already has a governmental role* is allowed to run. The highest voted candidate becomes Leader.
5) No one aged 70 or older may vote for anything mentioned in the above text, or have any governmental role*.
6) If the Leader dies or steps down for any reason, an immediate vote, identical to the vote described in 4a, is held to determine the replacement Leader.
